June 23 Left from KIX.
June 24 Arrived in Khartoum international airport.
June 25 Moved to Port Sudan.
June 26 Went round townscape of Port Sudan.
June 27 Had meeting with staffs, mainly Mr. Abdelmoneim, of Institute of Marine Research, in Red Sea University for the preliminary survey.
June 28 I investigated mangrove forest on the northern part of Red Sea coast.
June 29 I inspected seagrass beds on Dungonab Bay, and mangrove forest in the southern part of Port Sudan.
June 30 Moved to Mohammadgol of the northern part of Red Sea coast.
July 1 I investigated mangrove forest in Riwia.Went around mangrove forest, checked the size and range of mangrove forest in this area. I sampled shoots of Avicennia marina of height more than approximately 5m.
July 2 I investigated mangrove forest in Mohammadgol.I sampled them in the same way as July 1.
July 3 I investigated mangrove forest in Arakiyai and Halut.I sampled them in the same way as July 1.
July 4 I inspected mangrove forest on the southern part of Part Sudan. Went around mangrove forest, checked the size and range of mangrove forest in around the area.
July 5 I investigated mangrove forest in Klaniab.I sampled shoots of Avicennia marina that damage caused by camel.
July 6 I investigated mangrove forest in Klaniab.I sampled them in the same way as July 5.
July 7 I investigated mangrove forest in Malahat el sigieon.I sampled them in the same way as July 5.
July 8 Moved to Khartoum.
July 9 Left from Khartoum international airport.
July 10 Arrived in KIX.
