- Gathering information about the situation of the Mangrove sites on South Sinai and Red Sea coast

Contents and results of visiting :
For gathering information about the situation of the Mangrove sites on South Sinai, Red sea coast and also about the public security within Egypt I have visited Egyptian Environment Affairs Agency in Cairo and the local offices, by this occasion I participated in a meeting with Dr. Taher Issa Dir. National Biodiversity Department and the other Managers of South Sinai and Red sea coasts
Red sea region a safe area, but they are concerned about the current situation in Egypt, So in case of the work a request to complete the work have to be submitted at least before two months from the date of commencement of work
In South Sinai I moved accompanied by an environmental researcher to the sites of gray mangrove “Avicennia marina” in (Sharm el-Sheikh, Nabq, el-Gharqana, Abu Zabad, el-Rowaisiya, el-Munqateaa, Ras Muhammad)
In the Red Sea coast I moved accompanied by an environmental researcher to the sites of gray mangrove also in Hurghuda , it was able to visit abu Monqar Island using a boat, then visit Safaga which farmed by the second specie of mangrove”Rhizophora mucronata” in addition to the first specie, then visit al-Quseir where photos of the old houses there was taking to compare it whith the old houses in Tur Sinai, then Marsa Alam ( Eshshat Zeinab,where the percentage of the seeds was high. Then Sharm el-Qibli where the percentage of the flowering was high, Sharm el-Bahari where the mangrove trees was short, Wadi el Gemaal protectorate, Erear where artificial canal to supply mangrove were away from the sea , then Mastora where the roots was aerial to up not down , el-Qulaan , el-Reada , Hamata. Wadi lahmi, where was the last point on the national park. A lot of the photos had been taken and the journey was safety
